Who this suits
Anyone who finds sitting still difficult, or whose body asks for movement before it can settle.
When to use it
Useful at the start of a session, after a long period of sitting, or any time stillness feels like the wrong ask.
A note on the approach
This practice deliberately avoids instruction language like “raise your arms” in favour of invitations. Every movement can be made smaller, changed, or imagined instead, which keeps it accessible to people with chronic pain, fatigue, hypermobility, or a history of body-based trauma.
You're invited to begin this movement practice in whatever position feels okay for you. You might be standing, sitting, or even lying down. There's no need to change anything about your body unless you want to. You can move along with the invitations, take parts of them, or rest at any point. You're in charge of your body here.
