ONE-TO-ONE
One-to-One Mindfulness Sessions
Practical mindfulness, shaped entirely around you. Delivered online, wherever you are in the UK.
Start with a free 15-minute chat
Tell us a little about what is going on for you and we will suggest how one-to-one sessions could help. The chat is free, no-obligation, and there is no pressure to book.
Call or message us on WhatsApp. If we’re not available, leave a voice message or send a message, and we will get back to you.
Mindfulness isn’t about escaping everyday life. It’s about learning how to meet everyday life differently. Our one-to-one mindfulness sessions take the same evidence-based approach as our Signature Day and shape it around you: your pace, your circumstances, and whatever you are dealing with right now.
There is no group to keep up with and nothing you have to share before you are ready. Each session builds on the last, so you leave with practical tools that fit the life you already have, not a feeling of calm that fades by Monday.
Who one-to-one sessions are for
One-to-one mindfulness coaching suits people who would rather learn privately than in a group, or who want support built around something specific. People often come to us when they are:
- Dealing with stress, overwhelm or a demanding stretch at work or at home
- Finding that worry or racing thoughts are getting in the way of sleep, focus or everyday life
- Heading towards burnout, or recovering from it
- Neurodivergent and looking for an approach that works with their brain, not against it
- Keen on mindfulness but have tried an app or a podcast and found it didn’t stick
- Past participants of our Signature Day who want to go deeper
You don’t need any previous experience. You don’t need to be flexible, spiritual, or particularly good at sitting still. You just need to be willing to try a few things and notice what fits.
How it works: the CALM Framework
Our sessions follow the same simple framework we teach on the Signature Day, worked through at your own pace:
- Catch. Notice what’s happening: your thoughts, feelings, physical responses and patterns.
- Accept. Meet what’s happening with greater kindness and less resistance.
- Let Go. Learn simple ways to release tension, create space and return to the present.
- Move Forward. Turn what you’ve learned into practical habits that fit your real life.
Because the sessions are one-to-one, we spend longer wherever you need it. Some people spend several sessions on noticing and settling; others move quickly to practical tools. Either is fine.
What a session looks like
Every session is unhurried and practical. A typical one might include:
- Time to arrive and settle, with a short breathing practice
- A conversation about what has been happening for you since last time
- A guided practice, chosen for what you are working on
- One practical tool to try, such as grounding, working with the breath, or handling difficult thoughts
- Agreeing one small thing to try before next time, rather than twenty good intentions
Nothing is compulsory. You can move, fidget, pause, or skip a practice that doesn’t suit you. We would much rather adapt than have you push through something that isn’t working.
What you’ll take away
- Your Personal CALM Plan: a simple, personalised approach to bringing mindfulness into everyday life, built up across your sessions
- Guided practices: access to our written practice scripts and guided audio, to return to between sessions
- Practical reset techniques: short practices for real moments, when you are stressed, overwhelmed, distracted or simply need to pause
- Skills that last: the aim is for you to need us less over time, not more
Online mindfulness sessions, wherever you are
All one-to-one sessions take place online by video call, so you can join from anywhere in the UK. There is no travel and no waiting room: you practise in your own space, which also makes it easier to carry what you learn into everyday life.
All you need is:
- A phone, tablet or computer with a reliable internet connection
- A quiet space where you won’t be interrupted for the length of the session
- Headphones, if you have them, which make guided practices easier to follow
We send you a link before each session, and if anything goes wrong with the technology on the day, we’ll sort it out together.

Who you’ll be working with
Sessions are led by Sophia Roddan and Toni Wood, both accredited Mindfulness Now teachers. The Mindfulness Now programme is approved by the British Psychological Society and draws on Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy.
Sophia brings a background in education, nursing, fine art and therapeutic practice, and specialises in emotional support and neurodiversity. She is a trained Drawing and Talking practitioner and holds certificates in autism and in understanding learning difficulties.
Toni brings more than twenty-five years of coaching, mentoring and leadership experience, alongside qualifications in Positive Psychology.
You’ll work with whichever of us best suits what you need, and we’ll talk this through in your free chat. Full details are on our training and accreditation page.
What it is, and what it isn’t
One-to-one mindfulness is practical skills training, not therapy or a clinical service. It can sit well alongside other support, but if you are struggling with your mental health, your GP is the right first step, and we are happy to work alongside the people already supporting you.
Questions people ask
Do I need any experience of mindfulness?
No. Most people start with little or none.
What if I find sitting still difficult?
That is very common, and not a problem. We use movement, grounding and creative approaches, and you can move or fidget whenever you like.
I’m neurodivergent. Will this work for me?
We take a neuroaffirming approach, adapting practices to how you think and process rather than expecting you to fit a standard format. Sophia leads our one-to-one work with neurodivergent clients.
Is what I say kept confidential?
Yes. What you share stays between us, except in the rare situation where safeguarding means we need to act to keep you or someone else safe.
I’ve never done anything like this online. Will it still work?
Yes. Mindfulness translates well to video sessions, and many people find it easier to settle and practise from home than in an unfamiliar room.
How much does it cost?
Sessions are £50 for one hour. The first 15-minute chat is free.
Can I reschedule a session?
Yes. Please give us at least 7 days’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a session.
Can I start with a single session?
Yes. Everyone starts with one session, and what we learn in it shapes whether, and how, we continue. There is no commitment to book more.
