Mindfulness Retreats in Devon
We run two venues, one in South Devon and one on the North Devon coast, plus online support for clients anywhere in the UK.
What a mindfulness retreat in Devon involves
Our retreats are working days rather than silent ones. You will not be asked to sit still for hours or to stay quiet between sessions. A typical day moves between short guided practices, time outdoors, reflective exercises and unhurried breaks, with plenty of room to step back whenever you need to.
Groups are kept deliberately small so that nobody disappears into the back of a room. Sessions are led by accredited Mindfulness Now practitioners, and everything we teach is grounded in evidence rather than belief.
A single immersive day
Most people start with a single day. Our Signature Day runs at both Devon locations and is a full immersive day built around the CALM Framework.
We also run private group days for organisations and closed groups at both venues. If you have a group in mind, tell us what you are looking for and we will suggest a format.
Choosing between Totnes and Croyde
The two settings do genuinely different things, and it is worth thinking about which suits you before booking.
Choose Totnes if
You want somewhere quieter and more inward-facing. The Totnes retreat sits inland in the South Hams, and the days there lean towards stillness, reflective practice and gentle walking. It is also the easier of the two to reach by train, with a direct line from London Paddington.
Choose Croyde if
You settle more easily outdoors, or find sitting still difficult. At the Croyde retreat on the North Devon coast, open air, coastal walking and the sound of the sea carry much of the day. Cold water is always optional and never expected.
What is included, and what to bring
Day retreats include all guided sessions, materials and refreshments. Get in touch and we will confirm pricing for your group.
You do not need any prior experience, and you do not need to be flexible, calm or good at meditating. Bring layers and shoes you can walk in. Everything else, including mats and cushions, is provided. Once you book we send full directions, parking guidance and a short note on what the day will involve.
If you have access requirements, sensory needs or anything you would like us to know in advance, please say so when you get in touch. We would much rather adapt beforehand than have you manage on the day.
