Who this suits
Anyone who wants something short enough to actually use on a working day.
When to use it
Between meetings, before a difficult conversation, or in the car before going in.
A note on the approach
Three minutes, in three parts that widen outward: look at what is already here, narrow to something steady, then open out again. It is deliberately framed as a way of checking in rather than calming down, because expecting calm and not getting it tends to put people off practice altogether.
This is a brief practice designed to fit into an ordinary day. It takes about three minutes, though it works in one if that's all you have. You can do it at a desk, standing in a corridor, in the car before you go in, or anywhere else you find yourself needing a moment.
